Converts document-supported contradictions, scope gaps, product and profile conflicts, and substrate-preparation boundaries on the Village at Belmar community refresh in Lakewood, Colorado into twelve draft written RFIs.  Each RFI states the question, reason, commercial impact, and the bid position if unresolved, and the report closes with the Estimator's Bid Position.

Drawing Sets We Have Produced.

Estimating and takeoff drawings show how scope is measured: measured areas, material assignments, quantities, transitions, and related scope information, prepared from the project documents provided.  The sets below were produced on CCFE engagements and are published as PDFs for inspection.  Takeoff drawings are prepared in RFMS Measure or Measure Square.

The samples published here are estimating and takeoff drawings, not estimating markups of a contractor’s own drawings and not fabrication documents.  Simple shop drawings are included in standard estimating delivery and document estimated material locations, layouts, and scope boundaries at estimating level.  Detailed shop drawings, including fabrication, coordination, and installation-level documents, are an optional service, separately requested and scoped.

Every completed estimating project is returned with more than a quantity takeoff.  The Bid Playbook records what the estimate carries, what it does not carry, what needs to be qualified, what the specifications require, where the drawings and specifications conflict, and what remains unresolved before the bid is submitted.
