01The Process
From Inquiry to Delivered Estimate.
Six steps, in the order they happen — including where confidential documents move and where scope, price, and approval are settled.
02The Six Steps
A Straightforward Process. Professional Results.
Six steps from inquiry to delivered estimate, with scope and pricing agreed before work starts.
- 01
Select Your Service
Choose the service that matches the work: Division 09 flooring and tile estimating, Division 08 glass and storefront estimating, or Compass Global pre-construction intelligence.
- 02
Submit Basic Project Information
Contact details, company, project name and location, the service you are requesting, your bid date if you have one, and a short project description.
- 03
Receive Secure Document Instructions
After the initial conversation, CCFE provides instructions for transferring plans, specifications, and schedules through the approved secure submission process.
- 04
Receive Scope & Pricing Confirmation
CCFE confirms what is included, what is optional, and what the project will cost — before any work begins.
- 05
Approve the Engagement
Estimating begins once the scope, deliverables, and pricing are agreed in writing.
- 06
Receive Your Deliverables
The agreed estimating or intelligence deliverables are delivered for your bid, with the qualifications and open items documented.
Project documents are accepted only through the approved secure submission process. The inquiry form on this website does not accept confidential plans, specifications, or bid documents. Secure submission instructions are provided after the initial conversation, so confidential project material is never handled through an ordinary web form.
Submitting an inquiry starts a conversation. No project work begins until scope, deliverables, and pricing are agreed.
03What CCFE Needs From You
Enough to scope the project accurately.
You do not need to prepare an estimating brief. These are the details that let CCFE confirm scope and price rather than assume it.
Project identity
Project name and location, and the owner or general contractor if you know it.
Service and scope
Which service you need and the trade or scope to be estimated, quoted, or reviewed.
Bid date
Your bid date, when there is one. Timing is confirmed with the project rather than promised in advance.
Document availability
Whether drawings, specifications, addenda, schedules, or contract documents are available.
Deliverables you expect
Anything beyond the standard package that you want quoted — for example detailed shop drawings.
Contact details
Name, company, email, and phone, so CCFE can respond and confirm scope in writing.
04Documents & Confidentiality
How project documents move.
The website forms do not accept confidential plans, specifications, bid documents, or contracts.
After the initial conversation, CCFE provides instructions for transferring documents through the approved secure submission process.
Documents are reviewed by CCFE estimators and the applicable intelligence platform under CCFE’s human-governed model.
No project work begins until scope, deliverables, and pricing are agreed in writing.
CCFE’s security and responsible-AI statements, including what is verified today and what is planned, are published in the Trust Center and the AI Governance statement.
05Pricing & Approval
What is agreed before work begins.
Division 09 project-based estimating starts at $200 per project and Division 08 starts at $250 per project. These are starting prices for a standard package, not fixed fees — the final quote follows the scope, the documentation, and the deliverables you need.
Services quoted per project — Compass Global, WATSON, HOLMES, and Specification & Product Intelligence — state a project-specific quote instead of a published amount, because the document package and the analysis depth determine the work.
Optional work, such as detailed shop drawings or additional intelligence reporting, is separately scoped and priced and is confirmed with you in writing before it begins. Payment and project-acceptance terms follow the applicable pricing page and the governing Terms & Conditions.
